Miller Systems Wins at the 11h Annual Horizon Interactive Awards Competition
Miller Systems, one of Boston’s premier boutique user experience and technology consulting firms, was named a winner today in The Horizon Interactive Awards, a leading international interactive media awards competition. Miller Systems was recognized for its excellence in the instructional video category with a Bronze Award for its work preparing training materials for the 1,000 person corporate intranet, InnerTube, it designed for WGBH-Boston. Miller Systems was also recognized with a Bronze Award for its work redesigning the primary web site (www.snhu.edu) for Southern New Hampshire University (SNHU). The 2012 Horizon Interactive Awards winners highlight this year’s “best of the best” in interactive media production.
“We are delighted to receive this award of distinction for our work with these two exceptional clients,” said Seth Miller, Founder and CEO, Miller Systems. “While each of the projects we conducted for SNHU and WGBH were very different, both represent the best of our firm’s aesthetic—a balanced approach to design and development, form and function.”
The 11th annual, international competition saw over 1000 entries from over 25 countries around world. An international panel of judges, consisting of industry professionals with diverse backgrounds, as well as an end user panel evaluated categories ranging from online advertising to mobile applications. The 2012 winning entries showcase the industry’s best interactive media solutions including web sites, mobile applications, print media, online advertising, video, and more.
“The 2012 competition has, once again, raised the bar for future competitions,” said Mike Sauce, Founder of the Horizon Interactive Awards. “I can speak for the Judges by saying that we all were very impressed by the quality of the digital solutions by all of the entrants this year. There really seems to be a convergence of all forms of media providing rich user experiences with a renewed focus on sound marketing and design principles that clearly communicate a message. With fierce competition from all of the categories, this year’s winners should be proud to be among the best of the best from around the world!”
