This marks the second major community disease website collaboration between Priority and Miller.

Priority Healthcare’s Neighborhood websites represent a natural and important extension of the company’s healthcare mission with in-depth, easy-to-understand educational information related to the clinical aspects of complex diseases. The sites also cover psychosocial aspects by offering support and information on stress and emotional well being.

Visitors to Hepatitis Neighborhood receive valuable, frequently updated content.  They can participate in “Ask A Nurse” message boards and live chats, attend events, and subscribe to newsletters and email updates.

Working closely with Priority Healthcare’s internal IT team, Miller Systems provided development support and hosting for the site.  The new site utilizes a variety of innovative and industry-standard technologies including RedDot Solutions’ Professional CMS, Microsoft’s .NET and SQL Server technology.  Many of the applications Miller Systems designed and developed for Fertility Neighborhood were leveraged in Hepatitis Neighborhood, including the site’s member management and broadcast e-mail capabilities, powered by Miller Systems’ award-winning dataDriver ePush technology.
