Miller Systems Ranked Number 39 in Deloitte & Touche New England Technology “Fast 50” Program

Attributes Common Sense Approach and Customer Focus to its 562 Percent Revenue Growth

Miller Systems, one of Boston’s premier technology consulting firms specializing in web engineering and IT consulting, was awarded its official ranking today in Deloitte & Touche’s prestigious “Technology Fast 50″ Program for New England. A ranking of the 50 fastest growing technology companies in New England, the Fast 50 rankings are based on the percentage of growth in fiscal year revenues from 1997-2001 (five- year period). Named to the Fast 50 for the first time last month, Miller Systems’ increase in revenues of 562 percent from 1997 to 2001 resulted in a 39 ranking overall in the Fast 50 for New England, presented at a Deloitte & Touche ceremony last week. “In today’s economy, triple-digit percentage revenue growth is an exceptional accomplishment,” said Steve DiPietro, partner Deloitte & Touche’s Technology, Media and Telecommunications practice and co-chair of the New England Technology Fast 50 program. “We commend Miller Systems for making the commitment to technology. We are proud to honor Miller Systems as a Deloitte & Touche Technology Fast 50 winner.”

Miller Systems’ President and CEO Seth Miller credits a commitment to customer satisfaction and a practical, common sense approach to business planning with the company’s 562 percent revenue growth from 1997-2001. He said, “We are thrilled to be recognized as one of New England’s fastest growing companies. Our success can be directly attributed to the quality products and services we provide our customers, the business processes we put in place from the beginning, and the team members who make it all happen on a daily basis.”

To qualify for the Fast 500, companies must have had operating revenues of at least $50,000 in 1997 and $1,000,000 in 2001, must be public or private companies headquartered North America, and be “technology companies” defined as companies that own proprietary technology which contributes to a significant portion of the company’s operating revenues or devotes a high percentage of effort to research and development of technology. Winners of the 20 regional Technology Fast 50 programs in the United States and Canada are automatically entered in the Deloitte & Touche Technology Fast 500 program, which ranks North America’s top 500 fastest growing technology companies.
