Miller Systems Named 2002 Codie Award Finalist

Miller Systems’ dataDriver ePush Nominated for Best Marketing Technology

Miller Systems, a technology consulting firm that provides clients with a unique blend of design, development, and IT services, announced today that its dataDriver ePush email marketing solution was named a finalist for the 17th Annual Codie Awards. Sponsored by the Software & Information Industry Association (SIIA), the 2002 Codie Awards showcase the software and information industry’s finest products and services and honor excellence for corporate achievement and philanthropic efforts. Finalists represent 41 categories of software and digital content products and services in both the consumer and corporate markets.

Nominated one one of five Codie Award finalists in the Best Marketing Technology category, Miller Systems’ dataDriver ePush module is an enterprise-class intelligent marketing communications engine that enables resource-strapped marketing teams to easily manage outbound communications. Part of Miller Systems’ dataDriver suite of browser based, database driven tools designed for non-technical business users, ePush allows a company to leverage its web site and contacts to acquire customers and contacts, and learn about and communicate with them. Delivering functionality to serve three different goals simultaneously, ePush provides companies with the ability to create community databases, generate surveys and conduct email broadcasts using accepted opt-in practices. Miller Systems’ ePush was also a finalist in the Best Enterprise Application category at the 2001 MIMC Awards sponsored by the Massachusetts Interactive Media Council.

“We are thrilled to be recognized by our peers for our innovative efforts in bringing dataDriver ePush to market,” said Seth Miller, President and CEO of Miller Systems, Inc. “More importantly, we are pleased to offer a technology tool that affords virtually every company the opportunity to leverage their website to acquire customers and contacts, learn about them and communicate with them easily and cost-effectively to build community and generate revenue.”

“The Codie Awards finalists are the best of the best our creative and innovative industry has produced in the past year,” said Ken Wasch, SIIA president. “The Codie Awards represent peer recognition of excellence. We congratulate all of the developers, designers and programmers that have had a hand in bringing such outstanding work to the market.”

More than 500 companies submitted nominations for over 700 products, web sites and online services in the competition. The 196 Codie Awards finalists represent emerging start-ups to traditional industry powerhouses. The Codie Awards provide the only peer recognition program in the software and information industry, a unique venue where companies compete for the praise of their competitors. The 2002 Codie Awards will be presented at a black-tie gala on Monday, April 15, during the SIIA 2002 Annual Conference at the Hotel Del Coronado in San Diego, CA.
