About Us

Seth Miller is the Founder and CEO of Miller Systems, a company he founded in 1995 and built into one of the Northeast's premier boutique technology consulting firms. Seth built Miller Systems from the ground up by consistently making user experience the top priority, and carefully crafting services that balance strategic and tactical design, technology, and business considerations accordingly.

Seth has assembled a team of some of the industry's best and brightest consultants, providing a wide range of client organizations both in and out of New England with valuable counsel and measurable results. Seth remains personally involved in many client engagements at Miller Systems, and under his direction, the company enjoys a diverse revenue stream and has a solid financial track record. Before founding Miller Systems in 1995, Seth held various systems administration positions at Rourke/MS&L and Graphics Express, gaining valuable skills in publishing, marketing communications and public relations. When he's not at work, you're likely to find him at a Red Sox game, playing with the latest mobile gadget, or, once in a while, on stage, singing in his wedding band.

Ben brings over 12 years of development and project leadership experience to our team. In a nutshell, if we can dream it up, Ben can make sure it actually gets built – correctly. A member of the Miller Systems team since 2004, Ben’s been an instrumental member of our team for a long time, and is a key member of our leadership team.

Ben is actively involved in many client engagements, with “last word” ownership over all key technical solution architecture decisions – all viewed through a “users first” lens. Ben also ensures that development best practices across our teams and supported technologies are defined, and consistently followed. Ben’s calm demeanor, business acumen, and ability to “speak English, not techie,” makes him a favorite of our internal team and clients alike.

Prior to joining Miller Systems, Ben served as a project leader and web application developer for AIG Technology, where he honed his software development and client consulting skills. Ben led the development of sophisticated web applications for Business Process Management, and provided regular customer recommendations in the areas of product development, installation, training, support, and maintenance. Ben also served as a technology supervisor and developer for his alma mater, Western Michigan University, spearheading the development of the entire online undergraduate and graduate catalogs.

Ben holds a BS in Computer Science from Western Michigan University, and holds various Microsoft Certifications.

In his offline moments, Ben enjoys attending opera either with or featuring his wife, and fiddling with stringed instruments, including the guitar, banjo, and mandolin.

Rob brings over 15 years of strategic marketing, consulting and project leadership to Miller Systems. His deep and broad experience in information architecture, interaction design, aesthetic design, and front end development make Rob the perfect fit to shepherd our clients through projects, no matter how challenging. Rob exemplifies the balanced approach Miller Systems takes to technology and design: the users come first, everything else is secondary.

Before joining Miller Systems, Rob held various design, development, and project leadership roles with internet startups Assets Sciences and LTSave. Rob spent the better part of a year working as a web designer abroad when Asset Sciences merged with Belgian software company Customer Dialogue Systems. Rob also worked in sales and marketing for Council Travel and UNICEF.

While at Boston University, Rob studied English Literature and International Relations, the latter of which (along with a rigorous semester at Oxford University) helped fuel his love of travel and history. Rob is also a motorcycle enthusiast, an amateur woodworker, and a pretty good cook.
